In her 4th release June takes her signature old time Appalachian vocal styling and adds some Memphis soul and a dollop of dream pop. As MOJO comments it's 'like the Stax house band floating through space'. Yes, it is an implausible mix of styles but she has ample talent to combine it all into a delicious gumbo of sound.
