Review: Vocalist Anel’s music is a hybrid of jazz, folk, soul and pop combined with a powerfully unique vocal style. Her voice, by turns rapturous and confessional, runs poetic rings around you, as the music undulates and churns. The result is pure feeling over pristine chops on nine heartfelt tracks.
