Maggie Forti, “Travelin’ On” Label: Music River Productions Reviewed by: Kim Walter, August 2019 Maggie’s vocals really make this album! Much of the music on here seems to be constructed to highlight ver voice, which ranges from having a bluesy twinge to being very sweet and pure. The music is all good, but songs 4-10 are more interesting and intricate than 1-3. My faves were 4, 6, 8, 9 and 10. Med - Country rock tune with groovy accents and velvety vocals Slow/Med - Both sad and hopeful country rock Slow/Med - Slightly bluesy love (wanted) song **Slow/Med - WOW!!!!!! Bluesy and emotive Med - More of a country strings beginning *Slow - Joni Mitchell song - folk rock Slow - Gentle acoustic song *Slow/Med - Starts gentle and gets more intense with heavier guitar *Slow/Med - Basic accompaniment to Maggie’s fabulous voice *Slow/Med - Clear, pure, vocals in inspirational tune | ||
