Killer low fi garagey surfabilly. 7” release by the one and only Slovenly Records: “Veteran Slovenly axe-wielding lunatic crooners KING KHAN & BLOODSHOT BILL have reunited for the first TANDOORI KNIGHTS release in 8 years with the “Temple of Boom” 7inch, and we couldn’t be more gassed to present this tasty thali! A comical take from the heart on Bollywood drawl ‘n’ twang abounds - “Temple of Boom” features the best use of the classic “There’s a place in France” riff we’ve heard since Shiva last destroyed the universe, but the humor would be trivial if the tunes didn’t cook, and cook they do! “Tandoori Dolly” closes the platter with a primitive Hindi holler simmered in reverberating exotic delights fit for consumption by the Gods, so curry up and crank it!”
1) (2:29) western ballad feel, dirty spaghetti 2) (2:03) kick ass bouncy twangy surfy.
