Prior to now, Clementine Creevy and her Cherry Glazerr crew were just hanging out. 2017's Apocalipstick eschewed formal honesty for situational slacking-the slow-blooming feminist, escapades in the kitchen, dirty underwear worn three days in a row. Good times, by every party guest's standards. Stuffed & Ready starts off sweet and predictable, with gentle vocals and foot-tapping guitar melodies from lead singer/guitarist Clementine Creevy. But the music quickly gets darker, even more hardcore, as Creevy embarks on intense guitar solos and explores her lower register.
Like: Joanna Gruesome, Vivian Girls, Burger Records.

Play: 2, 3, 5
1.Ohio (2:51) A classic bait-and-switch, what initially seems like bedroom pop switches into a heavy swirl.
2.Daddi (3:11) Trap drum beats and deeply pitch-shifted vocal echoes.
3.Wasted Nun (3:18) Electric riffs and a bubble-pop synth.
4.That’s Not My Real Life (feat. Delicate Steve) (2:57) A barreling punk rocker track.
5.Self Explained (3:36) ska-laced page from Santigold and weaves the clever façade of an introvert struggling to pass as sociable.
6.Isolation (3:03) Down-tempo and built on subtle textures than scorched-earth assaults.
7.Juicy Socks (3:13) Seductive bass line watery and luring you into an undertow.
8.Pieces (2:14) Mellowed-out punk rock inspired cut.
9.Stupid Fish (4:13) Ripping guitar solo paired with lyrics about not knowing anything.
10.Distressor (3:22) Oscillates from an arpeggiated guitar and rolling drumbeat to a headbanging refrain.
