From Japan: Flipper on crank with wigged out desperate screamed “vocs”. Noise blast rock. Grimey bass brings Flipper to mind. Merzbow and Massonna insane power noise vocals are obvious references as well as Boris and Boredoms, Keiji Haino. Nobody really makes this extreme stuff like the Japanese and boy do they scream a lot. Can’t blame them. 1)* (3:16) after noise guitar solo intro s kick ass dirgy plod with screamo vocs. 2) (1:53) huge pummeling galloping rockin. 3) (1:59) pure harsh japanoise 4) (11:42) dirge disjunct with noises, percussive, flipper comes to mind, vocals are full on Merzbow madness, devolves into noise dirge with a very strange last two minutes. 5)* (4:27) begins w found sound bells then a cool rockin beat appears, groovy a la F/i, shame about all the screaming 6) (2:28) noise screams, then a butt rock riff rock gets buried in the mess. 7) (1:53) chill almost surfy, spooky, quite different from rest 8) (2:04) insanity returns balls out. | ||
