Guitar driven rock that smacks of post punk but also has electroclash urgency. New Wavey Krautrock too. Angular without the angles. Bands like Wire, Numbers, Dance Disaster Movement, Rogers Sisters come to mind.

1) (2:41) mid paced dark evil rock 2)* (3:08) solid steady beat a la Wire, epic hooky chorus, shifts to a driving beat midway 3)* (2:58) driving krauty killer noisey. 4) (3:09) urgent new wavey electro clash surf back beats 5) (1:36) instrumental: bass driven, cool noises, angular guitar - an intro to next track, play together 6) (3:04) comes directly out of previous, solid mid paced rocking.
