King of Dudes is the third extended play release by New York City guitar pop trio, Sunflower Bean. Similar to The Lemon Twigs and Foxygen, Sunflower Bean continues their exploration of 1970s inspired glam rock with epic classic rock guitar driven by the energetic and appealing vocals of singer and bassist Julia Cumming. One of the most charismatic bands I have seen these days.

RIYL: Suzi Quatro, The Lemon Twigs, T. Rex, Foxygen and The Runaways.

FCC WARNING: 1
Recommended Tracks: 1 [FCC], 2, 3, 4

1. (2:57) ***King Of The Dudes – FCC [Shit]. Medium-up tempo classic rock moment a la The Runaways. Cool song; too bad for the FCC violation.
2. (3:29) **Come For Me – Medium-up tempo recording with 1970s rock in its veins. Solid guitar solo. Suzi Quatro would be proud.
3. (3:21) *Fear City – Medium tempo rocker. Nice guitars. Suzi Quatro would be proud of this one too.
4. (2:17) ***The Big One – Faster cut in the spirit of The Runaways. Catchy as hell.
