Sultans of String, “Christmas Caravan” Reviewed by: Kim Walter, April 2018 Wow! A horribly timed, yet completely awesome Christmas themed album. Seriously, the best collection of holiday songs played in the most unique versions I’ve ever heard. I’m thinking about burning a copy so my dad can stop playing the same old carols that I hate. Every one is interesting, I marked lots that impressed me, esp 5 and 12. *1. Slow/Med - Turkish Greensleeves 2. Slow/Med - Kwanzaa song *3. Slow - English translation of Canada’s first Christmas carol *4. Med - Instrumental mashup of carol of the Bells with the original Ukrainian version **5. Slow/Med - Lyrics set to Bach’s music 6. Med - New carol crafted from “Hark!” *7. Slow/Med - The ONLY version of this song I have EVER liked *8. Med - Jazzy and snappy upbeat PC holiday tune *9. Slow - Traditional celtic folk feel 10. Med - Jazzy jingle bells **12. Slow/Med - Django Reinhardt style composite song *13. Med - Unique version of religious song with some new addition 14.
