Laure Briard / Sorcellerie. Psych rock/pop. Female vocalist from France combines classic French ‘60s pop with psych. Third album. FCC clean. Play all. 1. (3:04) Dreams – only English track; fuzzy, distorted guitar with pop elements, sick and spooky synth, ends with echo-y goodness 2. (2:29) Les pins des Landes – slow and romantic, French track, light vocal reverb, is that a rainstick in there somewhere? 3. (3:45) On dit que je ne suis pas sage – Playful, segments are curt but it sounds cool, French track, background sighs and exacerbations, some nice harmonizing 4. (4:40) Sorcellerie – cool and spooky synth, feedback noise and screeching (not jarring at all – real nice actually), French track, layers of whispering voices | ||
