Longform experimental dub techno from Brooklyn. Dark, patient, cerebral, pulsing sci-fi minimalism. Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe’s played in a bunch of projects all over the spectrum of weird music: math rock (90 Day Men), spaced out guitar improv (Lichens), stoner metal (Om). His beat-driven work extends that fusion of adventurousness and meditation-like focus. No words, no FCCs.
1. (15:40)—Mid-tempo, subtle, deep, minimal bubbly beat. Distant, squelchy synth arpeggios. Glitchy, wispy textures.
2. (12:53)—Mid-tempo, four-on-the-floor, flapping beat. Cut-up, granular, voice-like synth.
