Fans of Syd Barrett bent psych pop, straight forward 13th Floor Elevators and strange shoegaze indie rock alike will love this. Super hip stuff. Male vocs, great bass, organs and bent guitars. Kick ass, later tracks veer into 80's psych punk revival revival, smack of greats like Yard Trauma, Gun Club. This is a digital promo of a cassette release by the infamous Burger. 1) (2:13) pop psych Kinks tone with a certain shoegaze 2)* (3:54) fucking killer bent guitar intro, mixed with a Barrett toned psych pop, advanced stuff. 3) (4:33) slower strummy with lovely steel slide guitar and organ, speeds up toward end then falls back in epic manner 4) (2:05) strummy and kinda upbeat 5) (2:38) dense feel, cover of classic psych "im not like everybody else". 6)* (4:00) very trippy 60's psych feel 7)* (3:14) heavier rock tone, psych punk 80's revival, Yard Trauma 8) (2:58) killer driving psych punk 9) (3:14) chill slow mindful trippy, intro, upbeat epic gazey 10) (3:33) begins w creepy screams then a near cowpunk gun club psych ensues | ||
