Super advanced stuff: tribal percussion heavy but contrasted with atmospheric slow phrased male and female vocals. Experimental feeling at times, orchestrated indie at others. Reminds me of Eno's pop work, Fripp, Monitor. Lovely. Thrill Jockey release. John Colpitts with contributions by Laurie Anderson, Yo La Tengo, and Mary Lattimore.

1)* (8:43) congas type percussion and upright lead this, slow phrased atmospheric vocals, piano, dreamy.(Yo La Tengo) 2) (4:31) tribal, vocals are forefront and melodic, minimalism via percussion, Monitor 3) (3:15) eno green world pop feel, FCC "dogshit". 4)* (9:41) begins almost experimental, voices, shifts to an urgent beat w spoken female interjections, builds and gets heavier, advanced stuff (Laurie Anderson) 5) (8:53) tribal out the gate, urgent drumming contrasted by slow phrased and atmospheric vocals
