Music that both creates a peaceful mountain landscape and tells a story with trademark North Carolina emotion. Ranging from break-neck speed traditional bluegrass to unique vocal oriented songs with subtle BG instrumentation. My faves: 1, 4, 6, 8

1.3:34 med- upbeat, longing to travel there
2. 2:54 med/fast- traditionl; bluegrasss sound
3. 4:08 slow/med- soulful voice- not BG
4. 3:08 med- small town ballad
5. 3:02 med- true BG story with excellent fiddle and vocal harmonies
6. 4:36 slow- ballad to mountains of North Carolina
7. 2:09 fast- what bluegrass is all about- fast and wild
8. 4:24 slow- uplifting ballad, almost a spiritual, without the religion
9. 3:36 med- BG instrumental
10. 2:29 med- entertaining lyrics about heartache
11. 3:00 slow/med – gentle ballad with tender voice
12. 2:47 med- traditional BG sound
13. slow- religious spiritual-nice song and sentiment, but unimaginative
