This is the second solo release from Benjamin Verdoes, you may know him from Mt. St. Helens Vienam Band, or, as I do, from Iska Dhaaf. This EP is super cool. All of the songs are mellow and electronic, great melodies, really cool sound. FCC CLEAN!! Favorites: 1, 3, 2 1. (4:17) Highly Emotional – Trip-hoppy, mellow, cool beats, distant lyrics, ebs and flows. 2. (3:21) Night Walk - Another sleepy song, super cool sound though. 3. (4:10) Above Ground – This one reminds me a bit of TNGHT. 4. (3:21) Is This All That We Are – This one is more indie pop, still with the echoey vocals, but a little more accessible. 5. (3:24) Beautiful Dying World – Guitar, vocals, drum machine. 6. (4:55) Eight Oh Eight – This one is pretty boring, more of the same though. | ||
