This is the Ryan Adams cover record of Taylor Swift’s 1989. He recorded it in just a few weeks. I love Taylor Swift (no shame) and I love Ryan Adams, so this is pretty much the best cover record ever. It sounds exactly like you might imagine and it is great.

1. (3:19) Welcome To New York - Starts with some seagull sounds, and builds into a Ryan Adams rocker, great layers, not my favorite of his vocal performances but still great.
2. (3:22) Blank Space - This is so great, so pretty, downtempo, totally minimal, sweet vocals, and gives you a whole new opportunity to love this song without the hooky pop sound.
3. (2:44) Style - This is my least favorite on this record, a little too classic rocky for me.
4. (6:07) Out of the Woods - Another favorite, acoustic guitar and Ryan, this really is a great love song and the Ryan adaptation gives it a whole new life.
5. (3:30) All You Had To Do Was Stay - Mid-tempo urgent vocals, I really love this one.
6. (4:06) Shake It Off - This is a super interesting twist on this track, slowed way down, stripped, basically acoustic, kind of great.
7. (3:44) I Wish You Would - Mid-tempo acoustic.
8. (3:55) Bad Blood - THIS IS SO AWESOME!! I think it is better than the TS version, catchy in a completely different way.
9. (5:21) Wildest Dreams - This is my favorite song on the original record, another great cover, more of the same.
10. (3:50) How You Get the Girl - He totally flipped this song and made it pretty and heartfelt.
11. (4:46) This Love - The TS version of this song is annoying, and this one is annoying too.
12. (5:14) I Know Places - Another one that I could do without.
13. (4:23) Clean - This one is fantastic too, country feel, awesome.
