Nightrage plays crushing Melodic Death Metal and hails from Greece. Never compromising on their sound, the band has resisted the whole mellow melo-death influences of the last few years and still delivers gut punching tracks. This is for fans of early Soilwork, early In Flames, Kalmah, Gardenian, etc.
1. (04:11) Solid opener, catchy riffs and tight drums. (4 out of 5)
2. (02:52) Let the headbanging commence! Excellent hooks (4.5 out of 5)
3. (04:13) Old-school Melodic Death Metal brilliance, solid melodic passages and killer leads (5 out of 5)
4. (04:09) Slightly Thrash-tastic song with a slower pace. The 90’s are back! (4.5 out of 5)
5. (03:13) Perfect track to initiate a moshpit with some epic melodic headbanging interludes (4 out of 5)
6. (03:36) In Flames is back….no, it’s just Nightrage kicking ass. (4.5 out of 5)
7. (02:14) Typical mellow instrumental, nothing compared to the rest. (1 out of 5)
8. (03:24) Brutality and melody returns with some hectic drumming and aggressive riffs. (5 out of 5)
9. (03:10) Fast-paced, perfect track to wake up some listeners early in the morning. (4 out of 5)
10. (03:25) Killer guitar solos at the end of this mellow piece. (4.5 out of 5)
11. (03:26) Bring on the (early) Soilwork-worship with this punishing closer (5 out of 5)
