Taste For Blood

Debut album from this Seattle based indie rock band. I really like it. They have a slightly vintage, at times bluesy, and always heavily melody driven (which as we know by now is my main criteria for liking a record). I really like this one. RIYL: Hold Steady? I can't come up with who these guys sound like, but I think that is a good thing :)

5. (3:13) Oh Well - Mid tempo, shuffling beat, playful lyrics
6. (6:28) Monster House - Soulful, psychedelic, cool organ sounds on keyboard
7. (4:01) Baby Marmalade - Female vocals, theatrical call and response
8. (4:01) Waiting On A Light - Down tempo, simple instrumentation, great in it's simplicity

10. (3:31) West Texas Vampyre - Acoustic guitars, and harmonizing, down tempo
11. (3:42) Put Our Guns Away - Favorite track on the record, up tempo rock and roll. Great melody, rich sound...rules.
