Brilliant Deathcore/Metalcore/ Post-Metal from Australia. While not as cheesy as North American and your run of the mill Euro Metalcore, this release is both powerful and technically proficient. Think of a more screamo version of The Black Dahlia Murder. While not everybody's cup of tea, particularly not mine, there are brilliant musical passages that deserve to be played.
1. Crushing mood-setting opener with some cheesy sections. (3.5 out of 5)
2. Devastating track with intricate guitar work... too bad for the screamed 'fuck' here and there through the track. (3 out of 5)
3. Solid atmospheric keyboards filled with punishing vocals and solid tempo changes. (4 out of 5)
4. Extreme brutality with a few breakdowns and epic melodic passages. (4.5 out of 5)
5. Epic song filled with melodic passages and crushing vocals. (4.5 out of 5)
6. Catchy electronic opening section sees this track evolve into modern melodic Death Metal and the into Core-ish territories. (3.5 out of 5)
7. Typical moshpit inducing tune. (3 out of 5)
8. Traditional core-stuff with some interesting atmospheric passages. (3.5 out of 5)
9. Mellow track that reminds me about of Defheaven. Mostly a post-rock/Metal piece. (4 out of 5)
10. Anti-climatic song... should have closed with the previous one. (1 out of 5).
