He backed Big Joe Turner. He wrote Tammy Wynette’s first songs. He toured with Faron Young. David Vest is a killer boogie woogie/barrelhouse piano player. Lots of ‘old’ sounds including jazz, blues, R’n’R. Great lyrics, instrumentation. Fantastic stuff!! No FCC’s. *My Favorites*: 1, 4-10. 1. *(3:22) Mid. Barrelhouse piano jump, old R’n’R. 2.
