Debut album from Scottish electro-pop band CHVRCHES is absolutely awesome. It has made a splash on radio stations like Live 105, but do not be turned off by that. Take a listen and decide for yourself, but this is definitely one of my favorite releases of last year so we shall see how if fares in our A-file. Enjoy!!

FCC WARNING: Track 1
Recommended Tracks: 2, 7, 10, 11

1. (3:11) The Mother We Share - This one is my favorite, unfortunately FCC WARNING: FUCK
2. (3:34) We Sink - Big 80s electro-pop feel.
3. (3:53) Gun - This one feels like La Roux album one to me.
4. (4:46) Tether - Mid tempo, more echoey vocals.
5. (3:41) Lies - Loud and distorted synth.
6. (4:32) Under the Tide - Mid tempo, great melody, male vocals.
7. (3:45) Recover - Even though this was the hit, it is possibly my favorite still. Electro pop anthem!
8. (3:51) Night Sky - A little mellower and sweeter.
9. (3:58) Science/Visions - This is kind of my least favorite. kind of a dud.
10. (3:02) Lungs - This is synth (shocker) but super great melody.
11. (4:09) By the Throat - Uptempo, pretty vocal
12. (5:40) You Caught the Light - Down tempo, slow build, male vocals.
