Drums and percussion with only a Sax for melody, and bass to give structure. Minimal. Clean. All Instrumental, except Title Track.
1 and 7 have the most interesting rhythms 9/8 and 6/8 me thinks.
Track 3 "Cyril Davis", long bass solo.
Track 6, St. Thomas, a light Calypso Swing penned by Sonny Rollins Track 8, Why? is a combination of Early In The Morning and Wade In The Water with a new middle chorus, singers fill a stop with the single word, "why".
