Great traditional bluegrass from Darrell Webb, featuring sidemen like
Blue Highway, fiddler Jim Van Cleve and banjoist Sammy Shelor.
1 – (3:47) Ferry Man* Haunting modal tune, dark, really fine.
2 – (2:54) So Far Solid mid-tempo love lament.
3 – (3:40) Folks Like Us* Fine song about the 1 percent.
4 – (2:27) Flying South* Upbeat & bouncy, Shelor kills it on banjo.
5 – (3:44) Mashtag* Moody Webb instrumental, great playing by all.
6 – (4:28) More Life* Slow song of nostalgia, mortality, terrific.
7 – (3:36) Bad Old Yesterdays* Fine mid-tempo cheating & heartbreak.
8 – (4:40) Devil’s Rope* Dark tune of crime & retribution, nicely done.
