Excellent tribute album to Merle Haggard, featuring his own compositions and
those he co-wrote with others. Suzy Bogguss is one of the most underrated
country vocalists around.

1 – (3:38) Today I Started Loving You Again* Lovely soft rendition, one of the best.
2 – (3:42) Silver Wings* Deliberate & tender, really nice cover.
3 – (3:39) The Bottle Let Me Down* Good cover of well-known Haggard hit.
4 – (3:25) I Always Get Lucky With You Slow-paced, decent.
5 – (3:45) If We Make It Through December Good though unexceptional cover.
6 – (3:19) Let’s Chase Each Other Around The Room* Excellent honky-tonk take.
7 – (3:46) The Running Kind* Mid-tempo country rocker, fine.
8 – (3:44) Going Where The Lonely Go* Pretty, very nice vocals & mandolin.
9 – (3:20) Someday When Things Are Good* Sad heartbreaker, slow & soft vocals.
10 – (4:01) I Think I’ll Just Stay Here And Drink Slight funk style, decent.
11 – (3:42) Sing Me Back Home* Fine cover of a classic.
12 – (3:22) You Don’t Have Very Far To Go* Slow, soulful, so fine.
