Moody, mysterious instrumental music created all at once with no overdubbing. Impressive.
No FCC violations detected.
*= favorite cuts
1 – (1:17) Loomer Slow guitar and drum sonics
2 – (2:32) Gilgamesh Distortion, more melodic, odd mixture of sounds
3 – (3:26) Impend* Opening gong, brilliant guitar notes, percussion, more energetic
sonic exploration
4 – (2:33) Optimalist. Bizarre mix of sounds, melodies in early part of song
5 – (10:56) Lovefist* Tender & blissful, sounds a bit like Bill Frisell. Drums at 3:30,
Builds to a full ensemble sound
6 – (3:48) Starstrider Another aural meditation. So so
7 – (3:40) I’m On Your Side* Repeating guitar arpeggios, with overlapping electric guitar solo.
Then sound expands nicely

somewhere around minute 8:00
9 – (4:06) Saturns Return* Nice melody, nice rhythmic pulse
10 – (4:05) Lookahead* Rambling solo guitar. Very Frisell-like. Quiet & moody
11 – (1:18) Inevitable Tasks At Hand More rock style guitar playing
12 – (4:05) Recollectus Softer tones, meditative tone poem
13 – (3:52) Cauda Pretty, ambling tune
