Straight-up modern jazz. Cantrall (on trombone) composed all but 1 of the tracks (#2 – by Cole Porter). Strong performances throughout. The arrangements for the horn line is especially good. Wonderful harmonization and counterpoints. Watch for applause.

*1. Clean and sharp mid/upbeat. The horns are tight, percussion is hot.
2. Sweet, relaxed, picks up a bit but keeps things lyrical and warm.
*3. Midtempo and playful like a musical game of peek-a-boo.
4. Fragile, gentle. Check levels, some solos are so quiet they’re silent.
*5. Sassy midtempo bounce w/a hint of blues. Some good solos.
6. A 25 minute jazz journey, varied moods, tempos, melodies.
*7. Way too short Jalapeno hot percussion then brass.
