Darko Kustura: Work Out EP

Some nice clubby synth-driven deep house made specifically for the dance-floor. Darko has definitely incorporated ideas that work very well and there are catchy bits that grab you in each of his tracks. For instance, in #1 the light fluttery synth tones are great. In #2 the big piano breakdowns remind me of the good 'ol NYC disco-house days. In #3 the drum-machines really add something to the breakdowns. Try them all and have fun.
1. Deep house that features a casual interplay of synths. I especially like the lightly fluttering synth playfully dancing throughout, more so than the slightly progressive-sounding synth loop. The track is quite good though.
2. Smooth deep house with a very clean synth sound. Big piano breakdowns reminiscent of old-school disco-house classics from the early 90s. Fun!
3. Again, synth-driven deep-house. But this time the drum machines feature prominently in the breakdowns and changes in the track. Definitely a club banger.
