Born in Alabama, raised in Chicago, this is Davis’ first solo release. It’s bluesy rock or rockin’ blues w/ some nice mellower numbers along w/ the rockin’ ones. Influenced by Allman Brothers, Taj Mahal. He plays most of the instruments (guitar, organ, piano, harmonica). No FCC’s.

2. (4:23) Mid. Easy-paced w/ elec guitar, hi-hat, heartfelt vocal.
3. *(5:24) Mid / Fast. Mean guitar, houserockin’ blues w/ harmonica.
4. *(4:57) Mid. Mellow ballad-ish, sweet organ, easy beat.
5. (5:56) Mid. Full band, dirty guitar, pounding drums, organ.
6. (4:44) Mid. Sparse w/ acoustic guitar and voice.
