A master of Indian slide guitar, performed live. (Watch for applause and beginning and end of tracks and after solos.) Respectful of Indian classical music but with a modern energy. It’s amazing how much he makes his guitar sound like a sitar. His playing is incredible; at times fast & furious, at others soft and delicate. Play it all.
1. Down/midtempo journey w/unexpected turns. Dramatic & beautiful.
2. Midtempo w/some excellent playing. A gorgeous showcase.
3. Wonder mid/uptempo blend of strings an tabla. Gets fast. Yow!
4. Driving and dramatic, fast and powerful. Holy cats.
5. Slow, hypnotic, dreamy. Just close your eyes and drift away.
6. Mid/upbeat w/great solos and ever-increasing energy.
