This two-piece doom metal band from Boise, ID delivers some dark, soulcrushing slabs of despair while never playing anything that can really be considered a “riff” per se. Just two long, dreary songs is all this self-released album needs to suck you into an unfathomable void from which you may never emerge, and it’s in a far more drone and hell, even dark ambient direction than they’ve ever ventured into before. The minimalist Arvo Part / Philip Glass influence comes to the forefront here.

Instrumental, FCC clean

1. (20:02) a few minutes of chirping crickets; then some eerie cello and synth drone on and on in a cavernous void of feedback drone.
2. (15:26) solemn funeral synth and strings joined by some plodding percussion, drifting into a quagmire of sonic nihilism.
