A blend of Klezmer scales, free jazz, and "world" music (African-based rhythms and hand percussion), led by cello and sax, colored interestingly by a popping electric bass. This is the 4th CD Friedlander has done with this band, and their rapport is excellent. Great stuff; accessible and frequently upbeat.

- Slow, Klezmer-influenced start, into a charged improv peppered with popping electric bass.
- "Small" sound, a nice little world-ish groove
- Midtempo groove with relaxed sax and mildly tense chords
- Dreamy, swirling, happy
- Quiet pulsing with clattery percussion
- Gentle, quiet, and upbeat. Faster chugging rhythm later.
- Sweetly swirling, mid/fast, quiet start
- N'Orleans walk, pleasant and slow, quite pretty
- Mid/fast popping groove, fun.
