Spoken word/poetry over modern music. Left political bent plus “out there” bits. As the title suggests, a collection of live recordings. Some don’t sound live- good mic and little audience sounds. Coffehouse aesthetic, interesting experiments, but overall it annoys me.
.brief intro explaining the rest- “sci fi social commentary, not so linear”
.human beatbox, digeridoo, primitive perc. vocals in 2nd half, politics + bizarre space
.Twin Tower 9/11 patriotism=commercialism commentary. Shorter & better.
.instrumental- digeridoo beatbox & xylophone
-7 flow together:
.plinked toy piano in a train station, then meandering beats & flute, poetry snippets
.jam session continues from 5, vocals more hip-hop
.so few vocals this is nearly an instrumental, and the music pulls together better here
.Good Japanese sound (pentatonic?) Vocals very amateur. Play the first half…
.Nice bass in the intro but the track falls apart completely soon after it starts…
.Decent delivery for this poem, music takes the background providing soundFX
.FCC: “I don’t give a fuck” t-4:47, “fuck you” t-4:04. Live recording, vocal only
.Yay Carnival/protest marching band, fun
