Coed duo offer up a collection of 4 track songs. Vocals sound stitched together, and the male has an accent that I think I've heard before in
bands from Glasgow. Maybe. The songs are pretty enough--tinged with sadness, but you kind of have to strain to hear the lyrics over loud drums. In any case the lyrics aren't as poignant as the label's promo claims. Pleasant but transient. FCC Clean.
1. [2:26] Heavy simple drum beat competes with vocals. Some layered vocals. Strummy guitar.
**2. [2:21] Cymbal and drum beat pattern. Bits of recording crackling actually work will with that pattern. Layered male vox. Reminds me a little
of something on Yo La Tengo’s "And then nothing..."
3. [2:51] Singer's complete each others' lines--nice effect. Female voice sounds younger here-like a little girl imitation.
4. [1:27] Mostly female vocals. A ghostly quality to this. Some string arrangements.
