Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend

Collection of songs by a Houston based indie no-budget theater group. Low-fi garagey moments, folk elements here and there, punky ones other. Not pretentious like most theater groups. Good stuff with several true gems.

1) minor feel mipaced guit centered instrumental
2) pleasant low-fi garage rock feel, fem vocals, horn
3) sarcastic, good but FCCs
4) brief tribal low fi interlude, waits’ish
5) simple low-fi off-key ballad, sweet and simple and bitter, fem vocs
6) circus-like vaudeville low fi feel
7) slow-core moody feel, brief instrumental sets tone for next song
8) slow moody guitar, story-telling feel to the understated male vocals, picks up
9) upbeat power pop
10) low-fi ambient noise w/ heavily reverbed spoken word thing way back and wierd
11) supercool spy-ska feel w/ fuzzy fem vocs, a gem
12) simple brief instrumental
