“Migrants” is violinist-looper Joe Kye's first full length LP. Though this is his first major album, Kye has been sharing his talents as early as 2013 with his three EPs and one live collection. This artist's sound is all over the place, ranging from your standard jazz and blues to rap, classical, orchestral, and indie rock. “Migrants” is the perfect physical representation of his skills and eclectic style.

***All songs end 7-10 seconds before the track does.***

1. Bambams Lullaby (4:23) – Lounge music. Slow & croony. Halfway through the song gets instrumental & intense, almost overwhelming. Last 20 seconds are quiet & fade out.
2. Stick On Me (4:11) – Jazzy. Very vocally focused. There's an undertone in this song that makes it feel vaguely like a tropical lounge & you're intensely cool for being there.
3. I Know (3:09) – Opening could easily be in an old Disney movie. Rest sounds like a character song from the same movie. Dramatic & absolutely beautiful. Ends abruptly. ***
4. Fall In (3:02) – Techno rap with violin plucking. Chorus is melodic and captivating. The strings really come out here in the chorus.
5. Ready (3:39) – Bluesy. Violin emphasizes lyrics. End swells before silence.
6. Happy Song (4:21) – Sung lyrics are like a warm blanket and rap portions works so well with the strings. Song ends abruptly. ***
7. Joseph Rests His Head (4:21) – This straight up feels like a slow, croony solo musical number. Has major Frank Sinatra vibes. Song fades out quickly. ***
8. Migrants (Live) (6:06) – Vocals are haunting & sweet. Strings are floaty & caressing. The last minute is just pure violin with a complimentary drum beat.
