Always a time for great excitement when Andrew Tomasello has a new release. This doesn’t disappoint – Another stellar journey into the experimental realm from Portland Oregon. Beautiful manipulation of various instruments combining with the tense droney atmosphere.
Like: Laura Cetilia, Sarah Davachi, Andrew Weathers, Gregg Skloff,
All good – Loving 1 & then 4 though
No FCC’s (Instrumentals)

1) The Grey Days (9.20) Stunning from the first second – similar to a concert intro by The Banshees or The Sisters – Completely absorbing, the sound of the strings is truly magnificent. Slow paced & hypnotic.
2) Passing Through (3.32) Higher pitched with waves of piano floating in & out.
3) A Void (5.23) Dissonant lavish touches, building to a wall of glorious swirls, before fading gently away.
4) Wanting To Be ________ (11.35) The keys are heavy at work, resulting in a slow tempest of sound whirling around your head. Heavy & wrought with delight. Extra long quiet fade….play to the end nonetheless.
