Improvisations by a large orchestra, for a massive and chaotic sound. Many of the pieces, especially #2 and 5, are based on predetermined structures or rules, which gives them a mood and a pace that's fun to hear unfold -- past L.I.O. disks had more of this sort of stuff. This one samples more of the orchestra's free-form abilities, as on the wholly improvised track 4.
- Propulsive start, into quiet pedal guitar with orchestral crashes. Grand symphonic march, then bubbly sax-led ending
- A series of vignettes: growly activity, then pauses
- Led by experimental vocals: Growls, gurgles, wails
- A mass burble, not conducted but still managed to create ebbs and flows
- Slow menace builds to long group tones
- Loud, hard driving aggression
